Black Yoga: The Retreat | 10/13-17

PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO | 5 DAYS, 4 NIGHTS | A CO-ED EXPERIENCE

For the first time ever, our founder, Angie Franklin, is offering a co-ed yoga retreat experience focused on the history of Black Yoga. Inspired by her course of the same name, this retreat will take a deep dive into the African origins of yoga, history of Black Power movement leaders who practiced wellness and an embodied experience through daily Kemetic yoga and guided meditation.

If you’re attending the June Kemetic Yoga Retreat, the dates are June 10-14th and the itinerary is identical except for the workshop themes, which will still be wellness focused.

Each day you’ll have kemetic and yin yoga classes, meditation and the most incredible plant-based meals. My goal is to support your wellness practices while giving you ample space to create your own.

***Schedule is the same for June retreat but we arrive on a Friday and leave on Tuesday (June 10-14th). Workshop themes will be wellness focused but not the same as those listed below.

We will be staying in a luxurious 7-story villa with an infinity pool and sweeping ocean views.

There are 12 rooms total, each with 1 or 2 King, Queen or Twin beds, sofa, bathtubs with ocean views. Bedrooms will be shared unless private accommodation is booked.

There are 3 different types of arrangements you can choose from, all options require a deposit to secure your spot which is non-refundable. If you have questions reach out to info@afroyoga.org.
