YOGA.
MENTORSHIP.
CORPORATE PROGRAMS.

Since 2016 our work has been reshaping access to wellness through culture-driven programming that sparks transformation, challenges convention and reflects the real lives and needs of the communities we serve. We don’t just create experiences—we design environments where people feel seen, empowered, and deeply connected.

local roots, global reach.

Afro Yoga started in July 2017 with a donation based yoga class in the park inviting people of color to come practice —when over 60 people showed up that day, we knew that Afro Yoga would not only become a powerful brand, but a movement that would change the wellness industry inside and out. And that’s exactly what we’ve been doing.

We’re here to meet you wherever you’re at.

Angie brought a powerful and intentional approach to wellness that deeply resonated with the audiences our organization was engaging. Through her facilitation, she created spaces that centered mindfulness, inclusion and authentic connection. Her professionalism, deep knowledge and ability to collaborate seamlessly made her a valued contributor to our efforts in advancing community impact.

— MARITZA DAVIS ◠ VP OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, NBA SACRAMENTO KINGS

Angie lights up a room with candor, wisdom and joy! She creates brave spaces for dialogue and self-inquiry which inspire action. Her knowledge, reliability, sincerity and care shine in every conversation and interaction. Angie is a trusted collaborator and teacher in my life.

CHRISTINA BAKEWELL ◠ NORTH AMERICA COMMUNITY PROGRAM MANAGER, LULULEMON

As part of the Camelback Ventures virtual wellness program, Angie has shown our entrepreneurs how to weave wellness into their daily lives, delivering content that resonates long after her session ends. She's made it possible for us to support our founders' wellbeing in a way that feels both intentional and sustainable—building community while giving our entrepreneurs the tools they need to thrive.

— SELAM KEBROM ◠  DIRECTOR, CONSCIOUS TECH, CAMELBACK VENTURES

Angie has been invaluable to our mission to empower our diverse student population at Skyline College. Her movement and grounding work create space for both healing and transformation. The workshop she led for my students was profoundly impactful. She helped us explore what it truly means to be grounded and connected in and to our bodies.

Her deep knowledge of culturally relevant yoga practices, combined with her passion for people, makes her work not only meaningful but essential. Angie embodies the kind of wisdom and care that we all desperately need. I am deeply grateful for her contribution and look forward to collaborating with her again.

— DR. DANIELLE POWELL ◠ WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP ACADEMY, SKYLINE COLLEGE, CALIFORNIA
